Dear Folks,

Haven't we been having two fine days? I hope that your snow drops and violets are coming along well. It won't be long now before the crocuses will be up too. I bought a pink hyacinth in the ten-cent store to-day all blossomed out on the lower part
of the spike. I wish that you folks had it. How are your plants doing?

I took some crackers, pie crust, and corn meal mush scrapings up to the ball grounds this afternoon and spread them out on
some rocks over to one side of the field. Something, - birds or dogs or other creatures, - apparently get what I place there for it disappears.
