Dear Folks,

I came out to Auburndale yesterday to see Miss Dawson and to have dinner with her. I think I wrote you that she was to be out here for July and August. She seems very happy. She had put lower sleeves and a vestee and collar into that dress that I sent her from Stoughton, and she gave me a little black curley [[curly]]-haired dog that she had made. She is really exceedingly clever. Both she and Miss Johnson entertained me most cordially, and in the after-noon I cut out a dress for Miss Dawson by one that she already had, and which she said was just right for her.
