Dear Mrs. Holmes,
This is the stamp I didn't put on your birthday card. Tonight I have stamped the envelope the first thing so I won't forget again and put on only the amount I need for Boston mail.
Your and Doris' letters came through over a week ago and a little later the T. & T. check came also. Thank you so much for all of them.
I hope you kept well

pompom buttons and decoration stitches in the same light shade.
It is dark now and the clock tells me it is almost exactly six o'clock, so I suppose I had better get ready and go home. Some day I hope I shall get a really good letter written to you. Doris always writes so easily and interestingly, and you always write such good letters too, I feel ashamed of myself. I am glad Mrs. Barry is better, and hope that you both keep well from now on. Much love to both of you!
Lena
