Theodore's sister, Helen Hewitt, died in the South about six weeks ago. Erastus's wife arrived about three hours or so before she passed away. Theodore says that her going was really a blessing because she dreaded a long illness. Her heart became bad about November. She was living in a hotel, then went to a sanitarium, and from there to a hospital. Wasn't it nice that she went to Buffalo last spring for such a good visit with Theodore? Erastus is settling the estate, although Theodore and family will come on to Williamstown about the middle of June to help pick over old papers and dispose of some things. I am glad the boys and families can be together at this time.
John Hollis had his thesis already bound. He expects his A.M. from Cornell this June. He has a teaching
