The flame vine (Bignonia Venusta)
In a land of unusual flowering plants, one of the rarest is the brilliant Bignonia Venusta, or Flame vine of Florida. Its riotous blooms make bright patches of color on building, hedge and tree.

Dear Mrs. Holmes,
I had a great trip [[?]] stopped in Washington P.R. station about an hour, so called Doris up. She wanted me to come out for night, but I thot it best to combine on way. All well with them. Beautiful place here. I found good room with Rye Bach, N. P. people.
This picture does not do flame vine justice but will give you a little idea of it. Hope you and Mrs. Barry are well and happy. Am sitting down by [[walis?]] in bay, Windy.
Love, Lena
