minute, I am too tired to write and keep thinking "tomorrow I will do it."

Doris sent me a nice dress for Christmas. It opens all the way down, so I don't have to tear my hair down putting it on and taking it off. It fits very well too. I have worn it a great deal. It seemed strange, but an apron that Elizabeth sent just matched it in colors - brown figures on yellow background - the same shades in both. Elizabeth also sent a very well made hand crocheted purse - white with turquoise blue lining and zipper top.

I hope that you have been keeping well - free from colds and other illnesses. Laurence's wife writes him every day. She says that there is a great deal of sickness up there - pneumonia, etc. I hope you keep free from it.

I hope that you and Mrs. Barry are having a good time together. She sent me a Christmas card. Please give her my thanks and best wishes.
