Dear Folks,

The days begin to lengthen at night to-morrow, and I am so glad. These days have been so cold and short that it has been hard to keep warm and cheerful. How thankful I have been to be where I could keep a fire going to suit myself!

How have you been? It seems a long time since I heard from you. Perhaps you could write just a postal if you don't feel like writing a letter, or perhaps Mrs. Osbourne would write a line or had just to tell me how you all are. I hope that you are keeping the heater going hard enough to keep warm, and that you are still all enjoying your after-noon teas.
