Dear Folks,

It seems a long time since I heard from you, but I suppose that you are busy and that you do not have much to write about, as is the case with me. However, since it is  Thursday night I feel that I ought to write you telling you I am still kicking if nothing more.

This is such nasty weather I have been wondering about your problems. I hope that you are managing to keep comfortable with soap stones and good warm clothes, if not with the stove and furnace heat. When you sit down why don't you plug in that heating pad Doris sent a year ago last Christmas and put that at your back, in your lap, or beneath your feet? It is good and warm even on low heat, and it is safe if you don't stick pins into it or get it damp. The directions will tell you how to use it - just like your grill, flat iron, or vacuum cleaner as far as attachment goes.
