I remember the last time we were in Hattiesburg, we were in the [[?]] temple I believe and we all gathered there and the police came into the building, the fire trucks surrounded the building and wailed all night

Now ladies and gentlemen we have had, representation from four major civil rights groups in our area and we sort of reversing, what ordinarily would be protocol in Mississippi tonight,

because now we're going to bring on some white folks you know

You know I recall when we were in New York couple days ago and they were all head up about you know everybody-- every newsman wants to know from the regular civil rights people

what about the black Muslims?

Oh, that's a good one and I heard Whitney Young answer that question, as good as I ever heard it answered when the white man asking "what about the black Muslims?"

He said "well you know sir, I think the black Muslims are a unique group and they say unequivocably to the white man, that you've got no monopoly on [[other?]] groups."

You got the white citizens council, you got the Hattiesburg citizen league-- whatever you call it, you got the John Butch society we entitled to a black Muslim or two
