Superintendent Education

Sir

Yours of Oct 29th was not received until yesterday. I have filled up the blanks and enclose them to you. I am not sure they are done in the way you may desire, but hope if not done correctly you will fill one for me as a guide and forward to me.

I took as my guide the number of scholars for each month.

For May and June I had but 17. For July, August and Sept I had 61 and for Oct 31. Making according to my calculation an average attendance of a fraction over 41 per month. I trust I am correct without the necessity of giving you further trouble. I have left the receipt for money blank which I will thank you to fill up.

I beg you to accept my warmest thanks for daily school register. It is the very article all schools should have.

I have the honor to be
Very respectfully yr. obt. servt.
F. B. Hopkins

I shall reopen my school on the 2nd Monday in January
