the remainder of the present year, to begin and be accounted from the date of these presents, to serve abide and continue with the said W W & Mary A Montgomery their covenant servants, and diligently and faithfully, according to the best and utmost of their power skill and knowledge, exercise and employ themselves in and do and perform such services and business whatsoever as the said W W and Mary A Montgomery one or both or their representatives, shall from time to time order, direct and appoint, during five days in the week commencing on Monday Morning at daylight, but this agreement shall not preclude the obedience of orders on Saturday, where delay may in their judgement cause loss to them or unreasonable inconvenience and all stock on said premises shall on Saturday and Sunday receive proper attention at their hands, to and for the most profit and advantage to the said W W & Mary A Montgomery, that they will be faithful and obedient and will not leave the premises of the said W W & Mary A Montgomery without permission; that they will make their own clothing, the cloth being furnished and garments cut out; that their children and grandchildren over whom they have control shall for the remainder of the year maintain the same relation to the said W W & Mary A Montgomery as formerly, and for the violation of any one of the above clauses of this agreement they will freely submit to the forfeiture of the whole consideration, and that forfeiture shall be the relinquishment of all claims to any products made on the aforesaid plantation; and one and all hold themselves in readiness at the option of the said
