Writing in the morning. M afternoon came also [[?]] Greener and invited us to go to hear Ralph Waldo Emmerson [[?]] and [[?]] it a rare intellectual treat.  He was not at the first of it.  It was at Cambrige at the Colege Hall. Subject "the immortality of the Soul" He argued with great force that there is no death and shared that [[?]] [[?]] [[?]] her form so [[?]] [[?]] but nature still. The next life is more perfect than this _ [[?]] live hereafter is to his now.
