Still miserable, in the afternoon S. came and brought me some letters to read. P. received a long and beautiful letter from Georgie E. very complimentary to him in certain portions also received one from Green. He is a singularly sensitive man, good hearted and full of good intention

Writing and still sick.
M. brought me his Report to the African Conference then I saw the subscription list and the name among them that stirs a thousand memories. Is as but a shadow or hope,or is a tangible reality yet for me?
