1868 Tuesday, June 16. Feeling miserable went for Quinine pills also to Mr Hayden's Home with chills and fever for the remainder of the day and night. Mrs Anne Brown and Carrie Butler Grey called and brought me a bouquet. Fever did not leave me until about 11 oclock. 1868 Wednesday, June 17. Went to walk today feeling much better Washington St deserted everybody at Charlestown to the celebration of the battle of Bunker Hill Mr Lee gave me great encouragement concerning the book being out in July. Mr Lennox took me in the Common in the afternoon and to Copeland's for Cream Mary Lockley came and brought a letter from Me Randamie to me Mr John Richmond came and spent the evening with us told of Henry Miller's marriage Mrs Buchanan called also to see me
