Saturday, July 4.
Up at four as I had no sleep whatever took the quinine which unfitted? me for the day. Sunday, July 5.
A baking hot day long to be remembered. Trying to keep cool all day in Afternoon a thunderstorm seemed imminent but it only sprinkled a little. After went to Howard's and spent a real pleasant time until nine oclock.
