to-day. Berenice had a very large washing to get out. While I didn't help her with it, I didn't feel like going off and leaving her, so Theodore went off with J.H. and I stayed and played with Bunny. Now they are back with peas all shelled ready to cook. Your dinner is all over long ago, for it is about half past one by your time. Somehow the days go by here without much having been accomplished. We have had almost all of our breakfasts on the porch and suppers out of doors, either off on a picnic, on the porch, or on the lawn. Dinners alone we have inside.
