Miss Leadbetter to-day held a meeting of the National Assistants and among other things read a letter from a firm in New Jersey that wants a teacher-trainer sort of person. She wishes to send someone. She says it would be good pay, position, etc. What do you think of my talking the place over with her? She might squelch me entirely, you know, or she might not. 

I have heard nothing more from Mary Cleveland of Canton. I am wondering if she got my letter as I left it in a letter
