[[strikethrough]] did [[/strikethrough]] not actually experience it but I am busy most all day just getting a little something for us three to eat and dressing J.H. twice or more times each day. I have tried to plan out why it is for I have not touched a broom since I came. We do not get up early and it is half past eight or nine before we get our breakfast and then it takes about an hour for each meal - three hours there. After the dishes I have to start the dinner and by the time that is out of the way, J.H. dressed again after his rest and my clothes changed it is four o'clock and then it is not far from supper time. The year I worked at the hotel for a hundred or more people I was not more busy. I should try to get it within better hours if I had it to do all of the time but as it is I wonder Berenice gets as much done as she does. She has managed to write a play which is exceedingly good. It is not in final shape yet but it strikes me as being extremely good. I hope she gets something for it.

I am glad my appointment came. Thank you for writing me about it. Would you please take my heavy black boots from the bath room lounge to the cobbler and have them fixed up for tramping? T. thinks my sneakers would not be suitable
