the fact that Mr. Hynes is back. We didn't expect him any way, but here he is. There is no change, therefore, in the high school faculty except the addition of Miss O'Donnell. (Note name, please)

Mr. Kennedy's father is very ill so he left after the first period this morning and isn't expected back until Tuesday anyway. I went into his room, forgot one of my own classes, so taught it this P.M. I hope I shall soon get used to my

schedule. Now Seniors seem like juniors to me and juniors like sophomores, and I am always expecting the wrong things of them. I suppose I shall get acclimated in time.

Yesterday as I was going to school one of the women I met last year hailed me and I went across the street to speak to her. She gave me two delicious peaches which I immediately gobbled lest I be constrained to divide them among the female members of the teaching core which would leave little for me.
