Tuesday Evening

Dear Folks:

Your letter has just come and I have already crossed off the 20 although if everything goes well I expect to be out to see you before then, probably this week end. I have been in trouble more than usual this week it seems. I think I must be a hordoo (Is that the way to spell it?)

else. I think that she knows of my raise and thinks she might just as well get some of it. She pays $42.50 for rent so you see I pay a little more than half the rent and was offering enough extra to cover gas if she would not waste it. I don't think I ought to pay her for back rent that she didn't tell me about, do you?

Then here is the next. Last night I was walking along home when something happened. Apparently I slipped, although I don't remember doing so and as I fell, struck my head - north east corner, - on the stone foundation.
