called on us she stayed all of two hours. she says Pat Mahoney's wife is home again from the asylum & has two nurses. she is unconscious & will not last long. she will soon join her husband & all will be over poor thing. Johnnie Farrel died in the hospital his funeral took place in his home Sunday. I guess Mort Lamb has payed his expenses. he lived in feeble health to a good old age after all. Cris his oldest brother is still living. (Celia's age) they went to school with us. Maggie will be there alone, she is in feeble health. older than I am, soon we will all be there & reunited. We have made good use of the yarn you sent. she wanted to knit her little Bettie a cap so I sold her a ball of tan & we are still knitting it up. we have enjoyed doing the things togather [[together]], & before we get through, the yarn will be very much used up. we are doing in work as much as any of our neighbors perhaps I got old Sour trout to bring me up some postage stamps. he is the most important feeling chap on record I do believe.
