Dear Folks

The day has begun with sunshine & a clear sky after two days of south rain ending with thunder & lightening. it cleared in the night with a little more seasonable feeling atmosphere. down to 40° this morning I am knitting a cap out of black & during the last two dark stormy days it has been hard to do I have done nothing but drop stiches & find it difficult to pick up it is done now. I do love to knit ordinarily Mrs O has just been doing a new stitch one she used to do & had forgotten so she knit enough for a little napkin ring. she said it might please the baby. If you want me to make you any caps
