a letter Thursday afternoon. & this is my second letter this week. Sour Crout took my letter Monday but theres a holiday & this letter mailed Wednesday. will layover & you may not get it before the end of the week. There is not very much to write about. I neither go or see people. they don't come to take me to ride. I sit & sew patchwork. it tires me & the gas distresses me. then after a while I go at it again. I like to sew. I am going to try to get a bottle of salhepatica. that will be good to relieve me. I am sending back these pictures & hope this letter gets there safe. Mrs. Osborne gave me some strips of her calico that she was lining her quilt with to tie my stockings up with; all the time my legs were sore, while I was in bed. & do you know she had to hunt them up after they got well to finish her quilt. she came short just so much. her son is to have the bed quilt. she has finished it & its handsome well hope you are over your cold sore. Ma
