Dear Doris

The day has been cloudy but thus far theres been no rain, since dinner the wind has started up & the sun shines out from time to time.

Lena has gone in to see Dr Ott about her knee, she rode in with Mr Gilzer early this morning so I am here by my lonesome. I am getting my hand in. she keeps one on their nerve if anything ails her. She has a dozen remedies. first the electrical vibrator then her hot water bottle at her feet & then her stone. by that time I am ready to fly. I would rather be alone where everything is peaceable & no one to worry about. Lena does not wear anything but silk slips & guess she has a plenty. she has everything immaginable. I find her in oranges & grape fruit & pineapple juice & preserve. She eats heartily & rams off down town, she dont keep still long enough to let her knee get better. I guess her raking leaves & burning them was carried too for, but no one could stop her once she begun. I am doing all right & dont get rattled. I let go what I dont feel like doing. Today I am quiet & take things easy a little at a time go easy that is the best way I find. am not worrying & dont you
