Stoughton April 1st 1985

Dear Folks,

The day is cloudy with the wind in the east chilly + damp. I saw the oil truck over to Ballentines so ordered him over to fill up my tank + hope this will last us for this season. I ordered just for her. She keeps her NWest window open night + day + expects summer heat daytimes. She is still nursing the sore knee.

I have made some biscuits for dinner, a change once in awhile from yeast bread seems good to me. I also made a tapioca pudding. These puddings are also a good feature. Occasionally this bread makes a very good tasting plumb pudding. I can't eat much cheese. We had it toasted for supper between two slices of bread but I thought it hard to digest so shall not eat it anymore. What agrees with one, does not agree with another your Fridays letter I got this morning. You had not received the sweater but have by this time as I thought you might get it Saturday. Three days ought to reach you.

Lena has the vibrator buzzing on her knee now. she has the checkers placed ready for a game in the bay window
