Stoughton March 7th 1935

Dear Folks

This is a real spring day warm & very sunny with our snow fast going. they say it will be colder by night - by then the snow will be so far gone that it wont take but a few days to see it running rivers down hill. Lena said it was yesterday when she went down to the movies. we are getting along nicely. she washed out some of her clothes today. I always wash mine, a few pieces at a time. she is up in her room I told her to lie down as she did not sleep very well last night. she is a vegetarian we had new cabbage for dinner & it was very good. our lamb we had when Mrs Osborne was here most two weeks ago we finished it today in cakes I got eggs of Mrs. Paine for 25 cts. I thought they might come in handy he told me would bring them down anytime to just call up on the phone. Our therm is 65[[degrees]] unusual weather for the time of year. by tomorrow it will probably be freezing it is windy & the wind will change into the NW before morning. my clothes line I must take from the old pine stump & put it on another tree back as the stump is falling apart I am going to have it cut down & burn it up it looks bad as it is every place needs a man.
