Stoughton February 28th 1935

Dear Doris

We have had another snow storm it came Wednesday night quite heavy the scraper went through to make a path for atuos it cleared in the afternoon + grew cold during the night + when I got up this morning the thermometer registered 8° above. it will warm up so the radio tells us today. if the snow ever goes so that we see the bare ground once more we shall all be happy, even our little birds are looking forward to it I should think by this time it is over two months since it came + nearer there.

Well Mrs. Orsbourne departed about five last night + it was soon after that, Lena showed up. bag + baggage. the teacher who brought her in the aughto boards in the family there, so she got him to bring her, I had him stay to supper as it was all ready, tea tasted good to them for they had been riding most of the day + the weather was chilly with the snowy air.
