Friday Good day all day. Robert and I went to school. saw Judy at school today but she wouldn't talk. called her up at night and raised the devil about today "mad" I still like her, but does she still like me? men finished picking tobacco beds, spread manure.

May 27
Saturday [[crossed out]] Good day all day nobody went to church.  Uncle Gamit [[?]] and Aunt Florence came down to dinner. daddy and I went down in other place. [[/crossed out]]
Good day all day. Got my tobacco land in the level and plowed land in afternoon. planted sugar corn and watermelon Hot, went to Bob Via's in afternoon.

MAY 28
Sunday Good day all day, nobody went to church, Uncle Gamit & Aunt Flounce came down for dinner, daddy and I went down on other place. I worked on new Tobacco planter, raining at night.

MAY 29
Monday Good day most of the day, men striped tobacco in the morning. drew tobacco plants and planted corn in afternoon. planted 4240 Hills after school drew more tobacco plant after that. went up to Bob's at night, got home 10: oclock, Robert & Normie fishing on crain Highway. (Hot) called Judy up at night.
