She gave me a bottle of perfume, and two pairs of silk & wool stockins & a pretty card. Her sister in Akron Ohio sent me a very dainty & prettily worked handkerchief, also a card, I never saw her. I was nicely remembered by everybody. You see I also had a hand mirror from Barry. The Dykemans gave me a ponsetta, a very pretty plant full of flowers & red leaves Arthurs wife is very generous to me, always remembers to give me a plant on Easter & xmas. a Miss Dean school teacher when she heard Alice was used up, came right there with her things & gets her breakfast & supper & does her work for her. Mary Holmes is coming to take us to see Alice she has a new car (Forest Holmes widow.) She came after our mail & put it in the office for us when Sour Crout threw it back.
