Mrs. Harrington is trying tooth & nail to sell the old place, she brought us down two Mrs. Eddies books one is the exposure they have tried to get it out of the libraries, they cannot there are hundreds of them floating around. it is her life from childhood up & rings true. in all libraries written by "Edwin Franden Dakin." they have tried hard to suppress it. take it out of your library & read it. Mrs. Barry says she likes how you write about the cat, she loves cats & is interested in that one. hope you have had relief from the lame shoulder by now do be careful. dont lift heavy things. is it the right or left one. Alice-es is the left one. She has a Sweed girl come in to help with her work. I have been so busy reading & writing this letter have not had time to feel lonesome. The baker came in while McHugh was signing & Mrs. B struck an attitude & began to sing & something choked her - he said "look out mother or you will burst your gizzard" I was gone. they were here alone. he is comical & great fun.
