Dear Folks.
Saturday was dismal day. Blanch went to Brockton. it began to snow about dark & snowed by spells through the night. so the ground was white this morning, it has been cold with a cold North West wind all day. I hope it moderates befor [[before]] tomorrow, I had just had my nap when Lena walked in. she went home before dark. she brought me some little fancy crackers, with peanut butter between & fruit cake a small piece, she is going out to Jimmies Tuesday for Thanksgiving as usual. she said she was going to ask Mrs Barry & I down there to dinner but Jimmie wanted her to come to be with her. she said the frat had bough [[bought]] a good old house on Commonwealth Ave recently. I guess that she & Jimmie are loyal to the order, as they always have been, I am going to have a fowl for our Thanksgiving dinner McDonald has two & is going to dress one for me 4 1/2 pounds I called up the Colcords to day again Gregory was working but she said he would put on my window, his first leisure day. the old man is just about the same I guess they are pretty poor their place looks so at least hope their father dont linger long as he cannot take much comfort under the circumstances poor man.
