WHO'S WHO IN THE CAST

DENZEL WASHINGTON (Marcus Brutus) returns to Broadway after making his debut in Checkmates (1988). Other theatre credits include Richard III, The Mighty Gents, Ceremonies in Dark Old Men, When the Chickens Come Home to Roost and an Obie Award for A Soldier's Play. He is a two-time Academy® Award winner for his performances in Training Day and Glory, and received Oscar nominations for his performances in The Hurricane, Malcolm X and Cry Freedom. Recent films include The Manchurian Candidate, Man on Fire, Antwone Fisher (also directed), John Q, Remember the Titans and The Bone Collector.

COLM FEORE (Cassius). In his 14 seasons at Canada's renowned Stratford Theatre Festival, he played almost all of Shakespeare's leading men. He will portray Julius Caesar in the upcoming miniseries "Empire." Other theatre includes Hamlet (NYSF), Cyrano and My Fair Lady. Film credits include Chronicles of Riddick, Chicago, Thirty Two Short Films About Glenn Gould and The Exorcism of Emily Rose with Laura Linney. Received Best Actor Award (Mini-Series) for the title role in "Trudeau" at the Monte Carlo Television Festival (2002).

JESSICA HECHT (Portia). Broadway: After the Fall, The Last Night of Ballyhoo. Off-Broadway: Stop Kiss, Flesh and Blood, The Fourth Sister, Plunge, Lobster Alice, Othello, A Midsummer Night's Dream. Williamstown: Light Up the Sky, The Most Fabulous Story Ever Told. Bay Street: Talley's Folly. WILLIAM SADLER (Julius Caesar) is best known for his roles in The Shawshank Redemption, The Green Mile and Die Hard II. Sadler's film and TV credits also include Rush, The Hot Spot, Trespass, Witness Protection, The Battle of Shaker Heights, "Roswell," "Wonderfalls" and "Law & Order: Trial by Jury." Sadler last starred on Broadway opposite Matthew Broderick in Biloxi Blues and more recently created the role of Sam Clemens in John Guare's A Few Stout Individuals and appeared in Arturo Ui with Al Pacino.

TAMARA TUNIE (Calpurnia) is currently starring on both "Law & Order: SVU" and "As the World Turns." Broadway: Dreamgirls 20th Anniversary Benefit Concert; Lena Horne: the Lady and Her Music; Oh, Kay!
