the American Place, The Trial of Vessey for NY Dramatists, the title role in Sizwe Banzi Is Dead at the Arizona Civic Theatre. Numerous European productions include Othello, Macbeth, Tall Maidens and the Tempest. Films: Darling, The Comedians, The River Niger, One in a Million-The Ron Le Flore Story, The Island, A Dry White Season, Body Parts, A Rage in Harlem, Dead, Gross Anatomy, Cry Freedom, The Serpent and the Rainbow. He directed Boesman and Lena in Canada and L.A. at the Inner City Cultural Center, Angel Feathers on the Roof and I'm a Come Home Chile in London and Johannesburg, as well as The Lion and the Jewel by Wole Soyinka and Brother Jero. He studied drama at the Royal Academy in London and the British Drama League, and has taught at the American Conservatory Theatre in San Francisco. he is a directing fellow of the American Film Institute and once played Assagai in A Raisin in the Sun, directed by Lloyd Richards for Caedmon Records, as well as Lem in a recording of The Emperor Jones. 

DANIEL ORESKES' (Magistrate/Mr. Van Heerden/Mr. Jeppe)most recent appearance was at the George Street Playhouse, where he played Harry in Three Men on a Horse. His most recent Chicago appearance was at the Goodman as Mr. Fitzpatrick in The Skin of Our Teeth. He was also seen at the Goodman as Grimaldi in 'Tis Pity She's a Whore, a role he reprised last season at The Public for NYSF. Other NYSF credits: Worcester, Henry IV, Part I; Lord Bardolph, Henry IV, Part II; Gratiano, Othello (Delacorte Theater). Chicago credits: Victory Gardens, Court Theatre, Northlight, National Jewish, Oak Park Festival, Wisdom Bridge. Regional: George St.l Playhouse, Studio Arena, Missouri Rep, Barter Theatre, Shakespeare Festival of Dallas, People's Light and Theatre Company. TV: "20/20," "All My Children," "One Life to Live" and WGN's original teleplay, "The Old Potato." Films: Amir Naderi's Manhattan by Numbers. Graduate: London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. 

TANIA RICHARD (Student/Aunt Miriam / Ruth Dube / Guerrilla) is thrilled to be making her Broadway debut. She appeared in the Chicago and Festival of Perth productions of The Song of Jacob Zulu. In Chicago, she was seen in Blue Glass Paper at Chicago Dramatists and A Preliminary Inquiry at Bailiwick Rep. She graduated from Illinois State University with a B.S. in theatre. She thanks her parents and sisters for their support. 

SETH SIBANDA (Interpreter/Policeman/Jabob's Superior) was born in Alexandra Township, South Africa. In 1971, he co-founded the Experimental Theatre Workshop. There, he co-authored and performed in Crossroads, Smallboy and Survival, which later toured the US. He played in Gibson Kente's musical How Long. In the US, he has appeared Off-Broadway in Poppie Nongena. Regional: Dark Sun (A.C.T. San Francisco), My Children! My Africa! (Center Stage, Baltimore), Blood Knot  (New Mexico Rep), Born in the R.S.A. (Northlight Theatre, Berkeley Rep, Seattle's Contemporary Theatre), Boesman and Lena (Whole Theatre).

ALAN WILDER (Anthony Dent/ Lt. Malan) is an original Steppenwolf Ensemble member. Recent work there: inspecting Carol, Awake and Sing!, The Song of Jacob Zulu, Earthly Possessions, Curse of the Starving Class, Wrong Turn at Lungfish, Love Letters, Reckless, The Geography of Luck, The Homecoming, El Salvador, and The Grapes of Wrath on Broadway, in Chicago, La Jolla and London.
