At the Goodman: Galileo, Red Noses, A Flea in Her Ear, The Tempest, The Government Inspector, Ghost on Fire. For the last three years, he has been production manager at Steppenwolf. He teaches stage management at DePaul University and directs at Vermont's Weston Playhouse during the summer.
FEMI SARAH HEGGIE (Stage Manager) was resident Production Stage Manager at NYC's Negro Ensemble Co. for several years. Shows there: Ceremonies in Dark Old Men, Zooman and the Sign, Home, A Soldier's Play. Broadway: Bubblin' Brown Sugar, Once on This Island, Jelly's Last Jam as substitute stage manager. National/international tours: Bubblin' Brown Sugar, Porgy and Bess, The Wiz, Chess, Once on This Island, Home. She was personal secretary to Aretha Franklin and is director of the AUDELCO Awards for Excellence in African-American Theatre. She produced the Once on This Island AIDS benefit in L.A. and Washington, D.C. She was also a set production assistant for Spike Lee's Malcom X. 
ALDEN VASQUEZ (Stage Manager) served as production stage manager for Steppenwolf's Awake and Sing! and A Summer Remembered. He also served as assistant stage manager for Steppenwolf's Inspecting Carol, The Song of Jacob Zulu, Earthly Possessions and Another Time. From 1986-90, he was resident stage manager for the Goodman. Credits: the 1985-89 productions of A Christmas Carol; She Always Said, Pablo; Sunday in the Park with George; Landscape of the Body; Pal Joey; Romeo and Juliet; The Rover; A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum; the American premier of Glengarry Glen Ross in 1984. He served as production stage manager for Royal George's Jeeves Takes Charge, Northlight Theatre's Three Postcards, the 1984 summer season at the Totem Pole Playhouse in Pennsylvania and the 1984, 1985 and 1986 seasons at the Hayloft Dinner Theatre in Washington, D.C.
NED MOCHEL (Fight Director) returned to Steppenwolf in The Song of Jacob Zulu after doing fight direction for Your Home in the West and A View from the Bridge. He was seen in Spiele 36 at Victory Gardens and in the Illusion at Next Theatre, where he also acted in and did fight direction for Coriolanus. He was in the Commons Theatre Co. production of Lower Depths and in City Lit's The Castle. Ned acted in, as well as directed, A Night at the Fights at the Actor's Project. He appeared at the Goodman in The Winter's Tale, The Three Musketeers with the Absolute Theatre Co. and was involved in writing for the Organic Theatre on their workshop of Hydropolis. He performed in Louisville with the Kentucky Shakespeare Festival, performing in Romeo and Juliet, The Two Gentlemen of Verona and Julius Caesar. At Kranert Center for the Performing Arts, her originated the role of Dr. Kurare in Sozo Sato's world premier of Kabuki Faust. Ned is certified with the Society of American Fight Directors. 
GILLIAN LANE-PLESCIA (Dialect Coach) is a free-lance voice, dialect and communication consultant. She has worked with Steppenwolf on Your Home in the West, Another Time, The Secret Rapture, the Homecoming, Stepping Out, The Common Pursuit, Educating Rita, 'Master Harold'...and the boys and a View from the Bridge for Steppenwolf's Educational Outreach program.
