Sidnies Poll tax came Friday I am sending it along the envelope would not go into my letter, so took it off. I called up Louie Dykeman he came up that afternoon with my apples and fixed the window & went over the house & nailed up that little door that went into the cellar where the boys got in. he said the Leonard's saw them & now it is all right so far as possible. The safety deposit came I will pay that tax, just a week ago today you were here & went home the same day, as things turned out you were lucky perhaps as you would have worried otherwise. I took the cold but it was not bad. I put Vicks up my nostrils & it drove it off in two days. try it next time you have one & see a gloomy day will be glad to see some one to speak to. every thing coming along in the flower beds I have uncovered them so the leaves will blow away. crocuses & snow drops in bloom jonquils up & budded. hope you are well & safe.
