Stoughton Feb. 14th 1936

Dear Doris

We are having a terrible gale & snow storm it has been raging most all day & in the midst of it Mrs. Barry has been out & shoveled a path, so that I could get out to take the car to go down to the bank when Mr Harrington comes for me & he will arrive very soon, which he did & held on to me in good shape & there was a little narrow foot path to the door when I got there & he saw me clear to the door of the bank while there he did my errands around in the square which were not putting himself out, as he had his own to do. then he met me right at the bank door & was as careful of me & hung on to me well. he is an awful good hearted man. I don't think she appreciates him half. she says things that he takes to heart & plagues him dreadfully. she is full of pep & too ambitious & he is one who craves a home life. he says if he loses the home & she makes him sell it, he is afraid it will break his heart, as it is just what he loves. she was here yesterday afternoon while Mrs. Barry was at Laura's they met there at a
