Stoughton February 5th 1936

Dear Folks

We are having a much warmer temperature, snow & sleet then turning to rain & warmer. tomorrow clearing & colder. so we are looking for more of the same kind.

Your bundle came to day in good time. I have not opened it yet. but have just finished tieing this one this is the second one I have made this winter. the one I have just finished is the old one you sent home that was so greasy & worn not much of it is left in this one though, just some of the cotton inside. now it is to bind then it is finished. the wool is the best to fill it so light & nicer than cotton. Careta wants me to make one for her & asked Mrs Barry what I would make one for. she is very generous & has given us a lot of stuff to eat. good as she can be. so that I should not have the heart to ask her a price that it would be worth. she hates serving & her mother I guess never helped her do such things as my mother did for me. she has never got over the strain in her back from lifting her mother. she was more than good to her, as everyone knows, but she is a nervous wreck now. she says
