Maude says they are going to be pleased over an addition to Henrys family in the coming spring. I tell her then she can have the little boy all the time & guess from now out her time will be taking care of the little ones. Florence is one who will have them thick & fast or I'm mistaken. she may go to Maudes in the spring, it might save time & expense I think she will run her house there through the winter it looks like it now.

Ruby called me up last night & asked me if I had written to Charley D Capen. she told me he wanted her to tell me that I owed him a letter & in the other letter after, it asked if I was going to write one to them. so I told her it look as if he was anxious to hear from me, so guessed I'd better write. when Hazel was small we used to go down to Lizzies very often they lived where Earle Dykman lives. Charley built that house the first house built down there. the rest was all woods. we had good times there. he was lively & they were always glad to see us. it was a change for me to get away from up stairs in Grandmas house homesick as I was after my mother & father died. Hazel was a good child to take away from home. I would put on her little rubber boots & she would tramp through the snow. she was too young to go to school. Ellie would be at school. so she had her play things to amuse her. otherwise she would never let her touch them. it seems now a long time ago. which of course it is. I guess I've lived too long.
