Dear Folks

The day has been lovely warm & sunny it rained during the night but cleared & was pleasant early this morning. she sang in the quire [[choir]] & they had a big number some new ones fifteen in all she says here after she will only sing soloes, as she hates anthems.

Gregory came this forenoon to put on the outside windows but he did not get about it very early so his wife called him up to tell him his Aunt Grace his mothers sister was there, so I told him he better leave now & come again some other time he had them all on in the setting room & one or two on the kitchen windows, so he will come again no doubt to finish up his job. he said his father was just the same no change from the very first. they cant get any body to help he said they talked sending him to Mrs Cameron's but Aunt Mabel was opposed to the plan & is willing to pay for some one to go there & take care of him, but they dont know of any one & he asked me if I could suggest any body. I told him they were hard to find. we were lucky to get Mr Cobb for Pa nights, but managed to care for him through the days. it was terrible, but we got through it & were still living but no one knew how we were going to pass out. a quick sickness was the most desirable. we go when we are called & not before
