Stoughton Nov 14th 1936

Dear Folks

This has been a beautiful warm sunny day. Friday as you know is either fairest or foulest, no half way, + as Friday is so Sunday will be they always so. If so, we have much to look forward to. nice weather means much to me for I am not able to get out these days much as such. I will not complain as long as I am able to get about every dog has his day. I have had mine + am ready to take my medicine. hope it wont be for long. 
Gertrude has had her where she bumped down a whole flight of marble stairs after attending a ball given by the firm where she worked. Her heels were covered with the wax from the hall floor, it tool three of her ribs from where they were fastened, this was a year ago she has spent money, but it does no good, for theres no help for the mischief is done. Berta is the same from lifting and pulling her mother to her loose from her back she has to Dr. Brides to have him stop her up + she can hardly walk + is in mortal pain + she is going all the lifelong time, how long before she will be crazy do you suppose? both young women apparently. I should think that little dog she owns would
