Articles of agreement
B. Middlebrooks, Employer these Miles
Okolona and the Negro Laborers
on the 1st Day of "October" 1865

Art 1st. The said Thomas B Middlebrooks[[?]]
them horses food ferel clothing and []
as heretopass  for the ballance of the year 18[[?]]
Art 2nd. The [[ said Thomas]]
to give them tho Labors one "(10)th of []
com. bearing all expenses of said plantation []
for goods and garden as normal.
Art, 3rd. The Laborers portion of the crop is to be equally divided between them according to the Labor performed
to be disposed of as they the Laborers may thing proper.
Art.4th.  The said Laborers are to obey said Middlebrooks as his agent. fo promptlly and faithfully ant and all work regiments of these on said plantation during the balance of the year 1865.
Art. "5.th The said Laborers are not to [] said plantation without permission from said Middlebrooks or his agent.
they are to report strugless or ladess who may by lurking or attempt to stay about said planation
Art. "6:th if any of the undersigned laborers [[?]] or neglect to do faithful work or fail to comply with the above articles shall forfeit their portion of the crop.

In testimony of our agreement to the [[?]] [[?]] how our lands and bind ourselves to the above contract.
