Dear Doris-

It is a cold storm blowing from the North East. I have just taken the things off the back line & brought them in to dry inside, darn such miserable weather we had it pleasant Friday & also one other day Monday of this week, all the rest of the week it has been stormy. I went over to see Mrs Blake Thursday & found her looking anxiously for me, she is impatiently to having the Dr come to unstrap her hand. I do hope the bone grows together with out any trouble. she is looking fresh & guess she is all right other wise. she told me about the Cranes locking Jimmie out, and her sympathies seemed to be on his side. he it seems, has gone to live with an Aunt. rather hard at this late day, to be separated from his family. & turned out of a home. Charlotte she says is a great scold & always yawning, she seems to have been the cause of bringing lots of trouble into the family.
