We are entertained evenings by our radio, it seems to have come back to its own. lately we get a great many of those old stations that have been silent so long isnt it queer. I was alone last night, so listened in, and Pa came home before I knew it. there is a new station on. it connects with the Shephards store from Quincy. the Mayor was talking over the radio for a long while, & it was interesting so dont worry it is good for something after all. The man over in Franks house has made an opening so that we are able to see out & it seems much better. he is clearing that pile of loam, & intends to have a garden by raking it down & smoothing it off. a good scheme. he works early & late. I would like to see the baby eat her oatmeal. she is pretty hearty. I should encourage her drinking out of her cup, & it wont be so hard when you come to wean her. Sidneys mother is contented to live as she does, they are good to her, a paying boarder isnt she? well its time to start dinner
