Real winter weather still, 6° above this morning. Pa & I have managed to get the ashes out of the cellar & it seems good. during the storm there was not room for us to emty them, we had so much snow. Pa about broke his back shoveling paths. I hope we shant have another such a storm this winter. our coal came the day of the storm so we we were glad not to have to shovel for that. Dennis Toomey has been very sick for the last three weeks or more. We knew someone was having the Doctor there. so last night one of the Toomey boys overtook Pa as he was coming home & told him, he had a very bad case of bronchial trouble which they were afraid might turn into Pneumonia & is still confined to the
