the girl had an accident happen to her, she fell over the little boys cart in the kitchen and hurt her leg Monday and the Dr thinks a bone might be broken so yesterday, they took her to the hospital to have it exrayed. I saw the Dr's cart also the district nurse over there so naturally thought another baby, but glad to find I was mistaken. Arthur Dykmans wife has another boy poor thing, sixth child. business is rushing. No word from Lena this week, guess things are going well & she must be in good hands. I am now going to start my dinner. Ma

Dear Folks

We are having a few days of milder weather. a January thaw. our snow went with it, and it has been very slippery, but now it is bare ground. I am busy on the bed quilt, it is most finished. so you can see that I have not hurried for fear of getting out of work too soon. Most every one in town are sick I met Mort Friday
