Stoughton Dec 16th 1928

Dear Folks.
We are having very mild weather, but the snow still hangs on, in places it is very slippery but as I go out so frequently I am getting used to icy going Wednesday I went over to Brockton to get my xmas presents, I got pretty tired, but as the Stoughton car came along just as soon as my last thing was got, I did not have to wait a minutes, so I felt for once the Lord was on my side & so thanked him accordingly. Friday I went over to see Mrs Blake & carried over the letter & all the babies pictures and the two pictures of your house, with the one taken of Sidney opposite on the sidewalk, she was pleased to see them all, she seemed in pretty good spirits also & contented. & yesterday I went down to see Lottie Crane & found her much better & very pleased to see me. I then call on Sue & Alice Percy was at home, after showing them all the pictures Alice said she wanted the one taken with the little dog as she thought that the best of all, they
