washing & ironing for the white family on the place and when not engaged in the alone duties to perform such other services as said Horton may direct that she is capable of performing. The said Horton agreeing to render her & her two children Clarrissa & Charley medical attention in case of sickness free of charge & to furnish her & them with one summer & one winter suit of clothes each & to furnish them with a sufficient quantity of good & wholesome food. And the said Horton in consideration of the above services rendered by said Sarah agree to pay her the sum of fifty dollars at the end of the present year.

Edited a lot of mistakes. 1)Name of person hiring - HORTON, not Norton or Neorton. And employee's last name is CAVINS, not Carins - proved by US Census. 2)The names of the employer and employees are the ones who signed their names, so their names go under "In testimony ....". 3)Near the bottom, under the state and county name it says, "I", and then the name of the man "B H Mc Gee", not "J B H Mc Gee". He is swearing to the fact that this was read and explained to the laborers.
