interests of the parties of the first part

They further bind themselves not to [[strikethrough]] use any provender [[/strikethrough]] use any of the provender belonging to W.B. & J.H. Pollard without their consent for their own use or for any other purpose also agree not keep any stock of any kind on the premises of W.B. & J.H. Pollard without their permition  further bind themselves to do any work that is nessary for the improvement of the farm, when it is too cold to work in the crop or after the crop is laid by.  Lastly the parties of the first part agree with the parties of the second part that they are to have one half of the corn & cotton that is raised by them; and one half of the fodder & hay that is gathered by them.  W.B. & J. H. Pollard is to furnish peas to plant in the corn and to have the same for their benefit.  The parties of the second part bind themselves to plant the peas and cultivate the same.  The parties of the first part are to have full controll of the whole management of the farm.  The parties of the second part bind themselves to work according to the directions of W.B. & J.H. Pollard in prepareing cultivating & gathering the crop.  The parties of the first part shall determine how much land the parties of the second part shall plant in corn and how much in cotton.
