A Duplicate

A contract made and entered into this January the fourth day, In the year of Our Lord One thousand and Eight hundred and sixty six. Between James H Haynes party of the first part and Ann Lacy Freed Woman party of the second part all of Holmes County and state of Mississippi Witnesseth.
That where as on the day of the date here of the said party of the first part doth contract with the party of the second part to live with him as a servant the ensuing year upon wages, to wit, the party of the first doth agree to give the said party of the second part nine dollars per month for the next twelve months with her food. The party of the second part doth agree to live with and labour for the party of the first part the next ensuing twelve months under the direction, laying out of the labour and the entire controll of the party of the first part, to serve particular as a house 
To all which the parties of the first and second parts do have unto set their hands and affix their seals
