Dear Sir:

Since you applied for Geographies I have been trying to have them supplied through the Bureau but learn that there is no possible way in which it can be legitimately done. and have consequently sent on my own responsibility for Camp's Intermediate. These books correspond exactly with Mitchell's Outline maps which are used in many of our schools. If you want these and will advise me to that effect; stating the number now required I will send them when they arrive.
Yours truly.

Lewisville Ark.
Dear Sir:
Your favor of 14th Febr'y and enclosure is in my hands. Will you please furnish one memorandum of the prices of labor and building material at Lewisville.
I learn from an unofficial source, but one which ought to be reliable, that the number of children who would attend school at Lewisville can not exceed 25. I would be glad to know not how many there may be in the village, nor the number whose names might be on a School register, but the probable average attendance.
Your communication is quite full and explicit.
I am Very respectfully Yours
